Students of AIOU develop 33 devices



Islamabad- Chemistry department’s students of the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) have developed 33 different devices and projects for improvement of health-related services.

These devices and projects were put at display at an exhibition held at the University’s main campus.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ali Asghar Chishti. Registrar, Prof. Dr. Nowshad Khan, was also present on the occasion.
The students of Master and M.Phil level gave practical demonstration of the invention which they said will help in treatment of polluted water and environment hazards.
The devices, they said will also help in controlling diseases that resulted due to unhygienic conditions and polluted water.
Prof. Dr. Naghmana Rashid, Chairperson, Department of Chemistry briefed the Vice-Chancellor about the students’ concerted efforts in producing devices of public health sector. The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the students for their keen interest in their educational pursuits.
