Foreign scholars visit Islamic International University



Islamabad- A group of foreign scholars visited International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), called on President IIUI Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh and met with Vice President Academics and Deans.
In the meeting with President IIUI, the delegates were accompanied by the President IIUI regarding the university and he also informed them about the academies, faculties and the research work being held at university. Dr. Al-Draiweesh said that the recent conference on humanitarian law organized by IIUI and ICRC is a visible example of the university’s vision of internationalization. He said IIUI doors are wide open for the mutual cooperation with all the countries while IIUI would keep providing a milieu of peace to students of Muslim Ummah and it would keep playing its role in dissemination of Islam’s message of peace. The delegates thanked President IIUI for the warm hospitality and termed the recent conference as a vital step for the service of mankind. Later, a luncheon was hosted by the President IIUI in the honour of the guest scholar.
