Resources & Energy Summit 2025 to showcase Pakistan’s potential

KARACHI  –  The FIB/Lockton Natural Resources & Energy Summit 2025 will be held on September 17 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi, gathering over 500 delegates from Pakistan and abroad. Now in its third edition, the annual summit is a leading platform for dialogue on energy, mining, and resource development. This year’s theme — “Powering Progress: Risk, Resilience & Innovation in Energy and the Emerging Resource Sector” — highlights the need for sustainable growth and investment. Shamsuddin Ahmed Shaikh, CEO of National Resources Pvt. Ltd. and Chairman of Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation, will deliver the keynote on Pakistan’s mining potential. CEOs and senior leaders from Lucky Cement, Lucky Core Industries, OGDCL, Reko Diq Mining Company (Barrick), Liberty Power, Jhimpir Power, Zurich Insurance, Scor Global, and Lockton Global Energy will join panels on attracting investments, bridging insurance gaps, and redefining energy and resource risks. Hassan Rehman Muhammadi, Founder & Director of Fidelity Insurance Brokers, said: “This Summit will highlight both the risks and the immense opportunities for Pakistan’s natural resources sector, while fostering global partnerships and investor confidence.”
