
ISLAMABAD – On behalf of the federal government, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan received the retrieved land from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Deputy Chairman Sohail Nasir and Director General (DG) NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Farmanullah. The ceremony was attended by Secretary Industries and Production Saif Anjum, NAB representatives, and DG Freedoon Akram Sheikh. Through NAB’s efforts, 310 kanals of state land, worth billions of rupees, located in Haripur, was retrieved and handed over to the federal government via the Ministry of Industries and Production. Speaking on the occasion, Haroon Akhtar Khan emphasised that under the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the protection of national resources is the government’s top priority. He added that institutions are working in harmony in line with the Prime Minister’s vision for a corruption-free Pakistan. Khan further stated that through joint efforts of NAB and the federal government, national assets are being safeguarded in the interest of the people. He termed this success a practical manifestation of the Prime Minister’s vision of transparency and accountability.
