female students secure top positions again



The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad has declared the results of the 2025 annual examinations for classes 9 and 10.

Female students once again claimed the top positions, while no institution under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) managed to secure a place among the top achievers.

In the Science Group, Maryam Nadeem from Army Public School, Masroor Road, Rawalpindi secured first position with 1093 marks. Amna Nasir from Lahore Grammar School, The Mall, Wah Cantt claimed second position with 1087 marks. The third position was jointly held by Alisha Saqib of Amlah Foundation School & College, Misrial Road, Rawalpindi, and Fatima Wajid of Army Public School & College for Girls, Attock, both scoring 1083 marks.

In the Humanities Group, Sana Bibi from Shining Star Public School, Allama Iqbal Colony, Rawalpindi Cantt secured the top position with 1045 marks. Abdul Rehman from the Institute of Islamic Sciences, 17 Mile, Islamabad, stood second with 1029 marks, while Muhammad Sufyan Ahmed from the same institute followed in third with 1022 marks.

Speaking at the result announcement ceremony, Federal Education Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui lauded the achievements of the students, stating that the global recognition of Pakistani talent is a shared national success. He extended his congratulations to all the successful candidates.
