
LAHORE – Secretary Price Control and Commodities Management Department Punjab Dr Ehsan Bhutta has said that government is specially trying its best to ensure the availability of communities on lower prices. Chief Minister Punjab initiative of 15 Sahulat on Go Bazars by Sahulat Bazar Authority has been initiated in Lahore. Uptill now work has started at 7 sites which have been handed over to Sahulat Bazar Authority which included Faisal Town Moon Market, Gulshan Ravi 1 and 2, Madar e Millat, Raiwind, Manga, Shahdra and Shadman. Dr Ehsan Bhutta visited the sites to check its progress. He was briefed by General Manager Sahulat Bazar Authority Roshan Zamir, Deputy Director Projects along with consultant Malik Maqsood Ahmad. He visited two sites at Gulshan Ravi and one site at Shadman. He instructed to ensure quality of material (pipes, foundations, brick ballast, concrete etc). He asked to check quality through testing material like concrete cylinders etc from established labs of UET. He also desired to install bamboo bar around electricity poles. He also desired to install plants at Shadman sites which are not only buffer for smell but also add to greenery. He told that next visit will be in next week to remaining sites and desired to expedite progress.
