Pakistani singer-songwriter and cultural disruptor Blal Bloch has joined forces with acclaimed label Mass Appeal to launch his groundbreaking new EP, New Garden Sound — a fearless fusion of identity, protest, and global sonic innovation.
Co-produced with genre pioneers Talal Qureshi and rising talent Ibrahim Zaheer, the EP blends global rap with raw Eastern melodies, delivering a sound that’s as bold as it is unfiltered. Zaheer, who credits Bloch for his breakthrough, brings youthful energy to the project’s rich, defiant tone.
“This is not about playing it safe,” says Blal. “It’s about creating a sound that’s dirty, beautiful, political, and unapologetically ours.”
Each track on the four-song EP represents a distinct emotional and sonic landscape. From the politically charged “Billy Naghma” to the chaotic energy of “Formula 1”, the emotionally raw “Drama”, and the heartbreak-fueled rebellion of “Laila Majnun”, New Garden Sound pulses with purpose and creative freedom.
In a time when the global music scene is hungry for authenticity, New Garden Sound stands out not just as an EP but as a declaration of cultural independence — heralding a new wave of fearless artistry from Pakistan.
