VEHARI – An annual dinner was organised at the Government Graduate College for Women Vehari. The event was graced by Mrs Saqib Khurshid as the chief guest. Headmistresses from various high and higher secondary schools of Vehari, along with notable alumnae currently serving in prominent positions, were also invited to the ceremony.
The evening featured a pleasant atmosphere, adorned with lights and vibrant decorations. The college Principal and faculty warmly welcomed all guests.
Principal Mrs Asma Khabeeb, in her address, expressed gratitude for the guests’ presence and highlighted the significant contributions of Mian Saqib Khurshid towards the welfare of the college. She also brought current challenges faced by the college to the attention of the chief guest, requesting her support in conveying these issues to Mian Saqib Khurshid, Member of the Provincial Assembly, for resolution. The Principal emphasized the importance of collaboration between school and college faculty and underscored the need to implement the directives issued by the Higher Education Department regarding first-year admissions. The ceremony concluded with the guests thanking the college administration for the warm hospitality and invitation.
