
DUBAI – The dazzling trophy for the ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 was unveiled here at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi unveiled the trophy alongside the captains of the participating teams.The ceremony featured Salman Ali Agha from Pakistan, Suryakumar Yadav from India, Litton Das from Bangladesh, Rashid Khan from Afghanistan, Charith Asalanka from Sri Lanka, Jatinder Singh from Oman, Muhammad Waseem from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Yasim Murtaza from Hong Kong.
The continental tournament is set to take place across two venues, Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, from September 9 to 28.Abu Dhabi will stage eight matches, including one Super Four clash on September 23, while Dubai will host the majority of the games, including both high-voltage Pakistan-India clashes if the two sides progress beyond the group stage. The eight teams are divided into two groups, with Group A featuring arch-rivals Pakistan and India alongside Oman and the UAE. Group B includes Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong. The Group stage matches will be played till September 19, followed by Super Four stage matches, from September 20 to 26 while the grand finale will be played on September 28 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
