Death Anniversary of legendary artist Inayat Hussain Bhatti observed



ISLAMABAD  –  The death anniversary of iconic playback singer and actor Inayat Hussain Bhatti was observed on Saturday. According to a private news channel, admirers across the country paid tribute to his unmatched contributions to music, film, and public service. Born in 1928 in Gujrat, Bhatti moved to Lahore for higher education and went on to become one of Pakistan’s most revered cultural figures.  He was not only a prolific playback singer, lending his voice to nearly 500 Urdu and Punjabi films, but also a noted actor, director, author, social leader, columnist, religious scholar, and zakir. His vast body of work includes more than 2,500 songs, making him one of the most recorded voices in South Asian cinema. His legacy continues to inspire generations of musicians, artists, and cultural historians in Pakistan.
