Pakistan embassy in Tokyo hosts business networking dinner to strengthen bilateral trade relations



Tokyo   –  The Embassy of Pakistan in Tokyo hosted a business networking dinner in honour of the Federal Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan aimed at fostering greater economic cooperation between the two countries.  The event brought together a distinguished gathering of Japanese government officials, leading business figures, media representatives, and members of the Pakistani diaspora in Japan, said a news release. The minister emphasised Pakistan’s strong commitment to enhance trade and investment ties with Japan.

Jam Kamal outlined Pakistan’s focus on key sectors such as information technology, minerals, agriculture, and renewable energy, inviting Japanese investors to explore the vast potential and emerging opportunities in these areas.

Participants engaged in discussions on potential partnerships, investment avenues, and the strengthening of commercial linkages.

The minister also acknowledged the important role of the Pakistani diaspora in Japan, praising their contributions in promoting Pakistan’s trade interests and acting as a bridge between the two nations.

The event concluded on a positive note, reaffirming both countries’ shared interest in expanding economic collaboration and building stronger, mutually beneficial partnerships in the years ahead.
