5700 students get free solar lamps



Rawalpindi- Punjab government will provide solar lamps free of cost to 5700 students from Rawalpindi division schools.
These lamps will be provided under Chief Minister Punjab Ujala program. These lamps will be delivered to students who have secured requisite marks in 9th class examination. .
As many as 1791 students have been selected from district Rawalpindi, 1122 from district Attock, 1603 district Chakwal and 1184 from district Jhelum for provision of solar lamps. About 60000 students throughout Punjab have been declared eligible to get these lamps.
